SUEZ India Times, the bi-annual newsletter from SUEZ in India, was launched in early 2017 as a
communication tool to reach out to external as well as internal stakeholders. This edition, third in
the series, has been developed keeping in mind the feedback and suggestions that we have
been receiving from all of you.
The cover story of this edition focusses on our Group’s long-term strategy to make India one of
its top priority countries. The reasons are obvious – growing economy, urbanization, water and
sanitation issues, etc. SUEZ is a global company with expertise in water and waste resource
management, and, hence its role could be key in helping customers manage their resources
better. “The Group is keen to build on the existing footprint to grow faster in the business area, to
further develop smart solutions of high technological value to save water, address the shortage
of resources by giving waste materials a second life, and be a strategic partner for industrial
customers to optimize their management of water,” says Shyam J BHAN, CEO, SUEZ India
Business Area.

In addition to this, the newsletter covers interviews with Anna Fort Bramon, HR Director of the
International Division, and Laure Girodet, Head of Human Resources for the AMEI BU, the new
water treatment infrastructure project in Gandharbpur, Dhaka, and SUEZ Foundation- India’s
Kerala Relief Fund and humanitarian assistance.

It also gives a brief overview of our online presence on social media platforms, an interview with
Deepa Sadhu, who is currently managing the construction of India’s largest STP project, the
know-how of the new Health & Safety QHSE application, women empowerment and gender
diversity, and the latest happening and business updates across all SUEZ in India offices.
We look forward to your continued support and feedback. Please write to us at if you have any questions, comments, or
