Recycling 100% of the wastewater in Doha, Qatar, to support its international development
Water requirements in Doha are continously growing and the capital has very low rainfall levels. From 2005, the Qatar National Public Works Authority (Ashghal), signed three successive contracts with SUEZ to cope with the demographic pressure coupled with hydric stress. The challenge: satisfy water needs and protect the resource. With this aim in mind, SUEZ set up future-proof infrastructures and innovative treatments to achieve up to 100% wastewater recycling.
